Psalter Hymnal Volunteer
What: To assist our visually-impaired member prepare for the worship service.
Who: Sunday morning availability; Servant heart; passion for hospitality.
When: Before the Sunday morning service

Children's Worship Helpers
What - Assist the children in different ways as necessary (washroom breaks, snack time, behaviour issues, etc.)
Who - Someone who enjoys working with children; all ages are more than welcome to join us
When - Roughly once per month (2+ helpers each Sunday)

Children's Worship Leader
What - Someone to lead the children through their age appropriate (5-7 years old) order of worship including singing, offering, response time, etc.
Who - Someone who has a passion for sharing the Gospel with children
When - 2 weeks in a row and then 4-6 weeks off

Story Teller - Children's Worship
What - Someone to share the Bible story with the children. The stories and how they are to be told are clearly laid out in the materials provided.
Who - Someone who is great with children, enjoys telling stories and sharing with children.
When - 2 weeks in a row and then 4-6 weeks off

Driving Volunteers
What: Help some of our less-mobile members get around town when needed.
Who: Anyone with a car and a spare moment.
When: Various (We will create a list and your name, number, and availability will be recorded).

Pre-Service Disabilities Assistance
What: Psalter Hymnal Volunteer for Visually Impaired Members
Who: Anyone able to help a couple of our members with finding songs in the Braille Hymnal. Before the service starts, help these members by marking the songs in the Braille Hymnal(s) so they can easily find the songs during the service.
When: before the Sunday Service starts (Once per month).

Service Worship
What: Active service outreach to the surrounding community
Who: Anyone, all ages
When: 4th Sunday of each month, 11:00am
Where: Meeting at New Hope Church before going into community

Website Updates
What: Updating church website with new material, bulletin announcements, and edits to pages
Who: Anyone with skills in computers and/or website design
When: As necessary, division of responsibilities based on needs and availability

Parking Monitors
What: We need 4-6 people to monitor the parking areas in front of the church and at the church office, and assist our seniors into the church.

New Hope Bike Co-op
What: A community bicycle co-op offering low cost parts, free tool use, and instruction on bike repairs, providing a meeting place for people of all ages to connect around a common interest in bikes
Who: Anyone with an interest in bikes, people, or conversation, offering a practical hand and a listening ear (can be spontaneous or scheduled participation)
When: Saturdays from 10-8, come any time and stay as long as you want

What: Look out for newcomers and guests, offering a greeting and answering any questions, inviting to Newcomers’ Lunches (when held)
Who: Anyone with an interest in welcoming newcomers, ability to recognize new faces and remember names is an asset
